as for me, I have bruised my tailbone and with sitting at a volleyball tourney all day yesterday I am not any better off. I will do some mall walking today!

Hello Cathy, what happened to you? Hope you get better soon. Best wishes on getting better. Don't over do it if you are in pain. Rest so you will get better faster.
I been clocking in on the previous post since you hadn't open an offical post for our 9-1-07 updates. So far I been walking at the park Sat, Sun, and I said why not today too so I just got back from the park today. Yikes 3 days in a row.
Have a safe and restful Labor Day. Thank god I dont have to go to work today. HaHa

I have some catching up to do! I will check back in a few days. I need to get a routine down to just do it every other day at least. I haven't walked since Wednesday! Okay! I'm so embarassed. And Wednesday was before the start date! Boy am I off to a running start!!
If I go twice in a single day (a.m. and p.m.), is that just considered one time? I just want to make sure I understand. I feel so behind right now but I know I'll catch up!!

I am officially reporting that I did my 20 minute walk today.
Is it better to report a grand total on a certain day? Does the week run from Sunday through Saturday?

hi guys... the weeks will run Sat to Friday. I think we should stick to days a week. I am behind too Traci so don't sweat it, we have a long 3 months ahead of us so plenty of time to pick up speed with this. JD you are doing awesome and inspiring and motivating us to get out there! My tailbone is healing. I am getting on the treadmill tonight so we will see how that is affected.
also, on a personal note, I went ahead and dropped my class. I will start it over next week or the week after. I had such anxiety about this last night! it is just not right!!
first day of school here so I am excited for even more routine!!!

Whew! I just got back from my walk in this scorching heat but it makes me feel good to have done it. I like my walking route I have. It isn't a 3 mile walk but I can feel it working! This is my second day to report. I'm aiming for 4 by Friday. Starting next week I am going to begin weighing on Fridays. This will sync with the challenge week better too.
How are you all doing? Is it just us 3? JD, I checked out the pictures on your site! What a resemblence! HEE HEE I'm getting a little inspired to add more photos to my boring site.
I had a little revelation today as I was chatting in the chat room. I've been reporting that I'm down 19 lbs with Jenny; however, I realized that I'm actually down 30 since January!
I'm off to weigh in tomorrow morning. (Send me some of your good vibes!) I sure am hopeful for a good one! I added some exercise, almost gave up my light cool whip (only had it 2 times very sparingly) instead of 6 or 7! I also started eating my dinner entrees for lunch and lunch ones for dinner. This is helping some with my afternoon hunger. Maybe it will give my metabolism a little boost too.

I should probably clarify the 30 lbs. I did Weight Watcher's from Jan. through March and lost 20 lbs but I gained half of it back (ouch!!!) by the time I joined Jenny the last week of June. Nonetheless, it is still nice to look at it over the year!
It is so cool Traci and Cathy will hit thier 20 pound mark soon with JC. Awesome guys!! You guys need to plan on a nice reward. Something that will boost you guys will power to keep going strong.

My car wouldnt start this morning, so I had it towed to the dealership, luckly it is still under warranty. So I am at home since there is no bus line to go to work where I live, altho I could of asked for a courtasy van to take me to work, I opped to stay home and rest, altho I didn't rest. Saw the front yard was in need of a cut, so thats what I ended up doing. Good exercise.
Hi Y'all! Gosh, I can breathe a sigh of relief! I was hoping to be down 3 lbs today after starting to exercise and making a couple other program adjustments. I didn't make the 3 lbs but I did manage to lose 2.4. I'm really thrilled with it and now I can say I've officially lost 21.4 on Jenny Craig!
It is sort of cloudy here and the rain is at bey but I am hoping to go for a nice walk with my daughter tonight. The Kansas City area is able to enjoy 70-80 temps over the next 7 days, at least that is what they are currently saying. I'm going to take advantage of it!
We are going to Worlds of Fun (amusement park) Sturday evening, so I'm thinking about how I can be sure to stay on the JC plan. At least I'll be able to have Jenny's breakfast and lunch. I might even squeeze my dinner in early and pack a banana and Jenny snack in my purse, if I carry one. Starting next week I'll be weighing in on Fridays. If I am really good on Friday (I usually have a splurge of a lunch after I weigh in) and save my little splurge for Saturday, I might be able to make it fine. I'd skip my Jenny dinner and eat with the family. I promise to stay away from the funnel cakes though. I learned this after having one on vacation and coming back to a 1 pound gain!!!

I just got my walk/exercise in for today. I do at least 20 minutes; goal is 4 X per week. So far I only have 2 days in this week so I need to do it the next two days. Next week I'm aiming for every other day to break it up.
sounds like we are all hanging in! I have found myself picking at my kids' dinner...aarrghh...have to stop that... but feeling good with the weight loss this week and hope it shows up on the scales on Monday!

I got a little busy last night and forgot to post that I got my walk in last night. I thought I had only 3 days in but I did get 4!
Do you all think that going to an amusement park will count for exercise tomorrow? We are going from 4-10, assuming the rain stays away. When we went to Silver Dollar City over the summer I swear I walked 4 miles!

Good Morning team I got good news to report. Weigh in was a success, lost 3 more pounds. Thanks to this team for giving me the inspiration to do my exercises without slacking, it’s hard doing it alone. :)
Recap on the exercise for the week
9-1 (1 hour/ 3 mile park+painting)
9-2 (1 hour/ 3 mile park+painting)
9-3 (1 hour/ 3 mile park+museum)
9-4 (30 min/ 1.5 mile on treadmill)
9-5 (1 hour/ mowing yard)
9-6 (1 hour/ 3 mile on treadmill)
9-7 (no exercise free day to rest)

I think I reached a plateau but as you can see I trying my best by exercising more to pass this stubborn loss, I never worked out so hard in my life like this week and yes just lost 3 pounds, I need to keep exercising hard to keep the fat moving around and hoping melting it. JD does not want you in his body any more, you been evicted Mr. Fat Cells. Yikes Mr. FC yes he has a name. HaHa

JD!!!!! You are rockin and rolling off the exercise charts! Congrats on the big loss this week! You are really inspiring me. I am always talking about you and Cathy in the chat room. I'm trying to drum up some more challengers. People are hesitant to join after it started but I assure them we are not really doing it for the prize and the more the merrier.
I like the way you posted it all together. Maybe we should all do it that way? It is hard to scroll back and count them all.

I would say amusement park walking counts!!! I counted my school shopping mall walking... well outlet mall... still had to walk thru the whole dang parking lot because it was soooo crowded!
I am really proud to be doing this with you all and I think we should donate the "prize" to the breast walk or something like that....

I know I have not been blogging at all, but I have been exercising. I actually got exercise in every day this week, cannot believe it with my hectic schedule at work, but I did make time for me!!!!!
